So my Dad is here. We are up early having coffee and the conversations goes to politics and the state of the nation. Sigh I guess that is a relaxing cup of coffee to my household. Dad we will just call him Ray that's his preference. (little crazy) Ray comes up with the idea that the legislator should be run like jury duty and everyone in the nation should be called to take a turn to go to Washington and vote on 3 things being sequestered for a month in a lousy hotel my husband argued it should be a nice hotel and plane ride. The details are still being disputed as I type. Amazingly we are also listening to progressive radio David Schuester is filling in for Bill Press and someone calls in with the same idea! David kindly points out that the constitution requires a legislative body. Of course I say of the whole premise of the document is how to be we the people should govern. But Ray was validated because there was another person in the country that had the same crazy idea so now it's not a crazy idea. Least to him. Now I don't dispute that lots of things need reform, campaign and taxes for two and there is obvious grid lock and obstruction none of this can be done in his theorized 30 days. Maybe this could be solved over coffee at the kitchen table I mean come on let's get these problems solved before 10:00 A.M when it's time to switch to Budweiser.
Conversation has now moved to the drone that was recently lost in Iran was a mock up without any technology lost just to mess with them conspiracy theorist. CRAZY.
I was going to change my hair appointment today to spend the more time with Ray. Now I am not so sure.

You would love him. Colorful is an understatement. He even want the grand kids to call him Ray.
