Trip around the Lake

This is a Frank Lloyd Wright inspired house this is my picture here is a website.

Fall colors are really starting to show in this picture.
This is the second Wright inspired house on the water.
We stopped at two or three restaurants on our slow cruise around the lake. It's fun to get perspective even if it is a cartoon map.

Here is the Bagnall Dam holding all the water in the Lake of the Ozarks. Completed in 1931. Just sharing a few pictures today as life is calling.

It looks like a relaxing thing to do. How long does it take to go around the lake?

The lake is mapped out in miles 0 being at the dam and 80 or so being the other end. We usually do ten or 20 mile trips at a slow cruise. The whole lake is a very long cruise at our speed. All day from one end to the other. Their are fast boats in the summer time that go very almost scary fast.
It is relaxing and I feel like I've been on a mini vacation afterward.

Boating is so relaxing, when it's someone else's boat. We had a boat for a short time and it was a lot of damn work. Of course, we only have the Mississippi to boat on and it's so disgusting and dirty, it was a major thing, getting the boat cleaned up after a cruise. A beautiful lake would be perfect :)
